Sound diffusers (Schroeder diffuser) are intended for equalized sound diffusion indoors and in some cases – out-of-doors. Elements efficiently diffuse sound of frequency 250 – 2000 Hz, fully removing echo effects and other indoor acoustic defects. Ideal for home cinemas, recording studios and spacious halls. Produced and tested by Latvian Acoustic Association. Can be combined with sound absorbers and other interior elements.

We offer 1D Diffuser acoustic panels that have been tested in Acoustic Laboratory. All laboratory measurements have been conducted on 560x1260x155 solid wood planks with a total wooden structure area of 5.6m².
The diffusion rate S has been determined in accordance with ISO 17497-1 by using 8 sample panels. Calculations have been made for every 1/3 octave up to 5kHz as this is the benchmark beyond which the diffusion rate rises steeply. This happens due to the fact that projections „occult” one another rather than to a design recessions and wave length ratio. Such "occultation” dampens directional properties a lot.
